Temple Street Infants School, Castleford
The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.
This school began as Temple Street Infants School in 1890 and became Temple Street Provided School Infants Department from 1905, with Temple Street Provided School Girls Department from 1904 and then Temple Street Girls Council School from 1926.
The school was also previously known as Temple Street Junior Mixed School, Castleford Temple Street Boys School, Temple Street County primary Junior Boys School, Half Acres Middle School, Castleford Temple Street Council School.
