Roberttown Infants School, Liversedge

The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.

Built as Roberttown Board School, Church Street [later Church Road] in 1879, it later became known as Roberttown Council School from c1902 and then Roberttown Infants School. The school closed in 1977 when pupils moved to Roberttown Church School, the building was sold in 1985 and developed into flats in 1986. The earliest recorded log book for this school is dated 1879.
