Primrose Hill Baptist Church
The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.
Lockwood Baptist Church appointed an evangelist to work in the Primrose Hill area in 1872.
The room was used for worship and as a Sunday School which opened in 1874.
A Sunday School was built in Cross Lane 1874.
A new chapel was built further along Cross Lane 1880-1881.
In 1889 became a separate congregation.
The chapel was divided into two in 1935 and the Sunday School was then sold.
The church is still in existence in 2009.
