Moorend C of E Junior Mixed School, Cleckheaton

The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.

This school originally opened as Moor End National School, Snelsin Road. The earliest recorded log book is dated from the opening of the school, 21 April 1873. The school was enlarged in 1886 and became known as Moorend Church of England School from c1900. It later changed its name to Moorend Church of England Primary School. Its present name is Moor End C.E First School.
