Littletown Wesleyan Reform Church
The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.
Later known as Littletown United Methodist Church; now known as Littletown St Andrew's Methodist Church.
Initially part of Lawford's factory was used for services and as a Sunday School. Later the Littletown Wesleyan Chapel in Bradford Road was bought and enlarged in 1852. A Sunday School, was built behind the church in 1876. The chapel was demolished in 1891 and a new chapel built on the same site in 1891-1892.
From 1967 it was known as St Andrew's Methodist Church.
In 1971 the chapel and Sunday School was demolished and a new smaller chapel was built on the same site.
The church is still in existence in 2009.
