Emley Bethel Wesleyan Reform Union Church

Established by Wesleyan Reformers who seceded from Wesleyans c1849.

Various houses were used for services and meetings between 1849-1854.

A chapel was built in Over Lane in 1854; this road later became known as Upper Lane and the chapel was said to have been built in a very short time- variously said to be six to ten weeks.

The chapel closed in 1995.

NB. This church never became part of the United Methodist Free Churches
