Clough Head County, Bolster Moor Road, Golcar
The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.
Originally British School, Bolster Moor Road, Clough Head, the school existed by 1870 and was rebuilt by Baptists, 1871 - 1872. It was taken over by the Golcar School Board and renamed Clough Head Board School in 1894. It later changed its name to Clough Head County Primary School and its present name is Clough Head Junior and Infants School.
The first recorded log book for this school is 1873.
