Birdsedge Primary School, Denby Dale

It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available.

Built as the National School, Birds Edge Lane, Birdsedge, Denby Dale in 1864, the school became known as Birdsedge Primary School in the 20th century. The school is currently known as Birdsedge First School.

The earliest recorded log book for the school is dated November 1878.
